The U15 II KV100 from the U-Power series by T-MOTOR, a Chinese maker, is a heavy-lift motor (36N42P) for propellers of 36 to 40 inches on heavy transport and agricultural multicopters, designed for 12 to 24S.
The motor weighs 1,740 g and measures 147.5 x 55 mm. At KV 100 and 60 V that works out to about 6,000 rpm at no load. The peak current of 167 A applies for 180 s; at 60 V that is about 10 kW arithmetically. The maximum thrust of 37,000 g is a test-stand value with the G36x11.5 propeller at 60 V and 100 % throttle, 21 times the motor's own weight. The recommended propeller is the G40x13.1 carbon propeller, 40 inches in diameter and so more than a metre.
The range of 12 to 24S covers systems from 44.4 to 88.8 V nominal. On 24S a full battery stands at 100.8 V; batteries of this voltage pass the 160 Wh air-transport limit from about 1.8 Ah. Transport and agricultural multicopters of this class often exceed 25 kg take-off mass and then need an operational authorisation in the specific category. In the open category, carrying dangerous goods and dropping material are not permitted, and spraying from the air is additionally subject to its own EU rules.
In selection the cell count sets the speed: on 24S the motor spins twice as fast at no load as on 12S. The ESC must allow the chosen cell count and carry the 167 A with headroom. The 40-inch propeller calls for careful balancing. Check the bearing run, the winding insulation under sustained heat and the bell's concentricity.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
