The Navigator MN1010 KV90 from T-MOTOR, a Chinese maker, is a 36N42P outrunner of the Navigator series for heavy multicopters, recommended for propellers of 32 to 34 inches on 6 to 12S. The layout with 36 slots and 42 poles delivers plenty of torque at low speed.
The motor weighs 630 g including the cable and measures 118 x 34 mm. At KV 90 and 48.83 V that works out to about 4,400 rpm at no load. Power and peak current, 2,739 W and 56 A, apply for 180 s and fit about 49 V. The maximum thrust of 16,341 g is a test-stand value with the G34x11.5 propeller at 48.83 V and 100 % throttle. The lower winding compared with the KV135 variant goes with larger propellers: 32 to 34 instead of 30 to 32 inches.
A 12S battery at 44.4 V nominal passes the 160 Wh air-transport limit from about 3.6 Ah; up to 100 Wh it travels freely in hand baggage, between 100 and 160 Wh only with the airline's approval. For EU classification the take-off mass of the whole aircraft counts: C3 and C4 reach up to 25 kg, and above that the specific category applies. Remote ID is mandatory for C1 to C3.
Low KV on large propellers gives good hover efficiency but large inertia: the propellers follow throttle commands more slowly, and the ESC must handle load changes cleanly. The weight of 630 g includes the cable. Check the bearings, the winding insulation under sustained heat and the rotor bell after hard landings.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
