The MN4014 Navigator KV330 from T-MOTOR, a Chinese maker, is an outrunner of the Navigator series for mid-size multicopters and fixed-wing aircraft on 4 to 8S. The type code gives a stator of 40 mm diameter and 14 mm height; the motor is designed for 17-inch propellers.
It weighs 171 g and measures 44.7 x 34.5 mm. At KV 330 and 22.2 V that works out to about 7,300 rpm at no load. Because no-load speed grows with voltage, it doubles from 4S to 8S; the propeller choice therefore goes with the cell count. The maximum power of 750 W applies for 180 s. The maximum thrust of 2,600 g is a test-stand value with the 17x5.8 carbon propeller at 22.2 V and 100 % throttle; the maker names the P17x5.8 as the propeller.
Four of these motors weigh 684 g together, with frame, ESC and battery still to come. For EU classification the take-off mass of the whole aircraft counts: C1 below 900 g, C2 below 4 kg, C3 and C4 below 25 kg; Remote ID is mandatory for C1 to C3. A fixed-wing aircraft with this motor is also an unmanned aircraft: from 250 g the operator must register, and the open category requires visual contact and a maximum height of 120 m.
On a fixed-wing aircraft the airstream cools the motor; in a hover that help is missing, so the continuous load in a hover must be lower. A propeller larger than recommended overloads motor and ESC. Check the bearings, the winding insulation and the rotor bell with its magnets after impacts.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
