The U13 II KV65 from the U-Power series by T-MOTOR, a Chinese maker, is a heavy-lift outrunner for multicopters. The layout has 36 slots and 42 poles, and the housing measures 100 x 60 mm. It is designed for 22 to 25S and the G32x11 propeller.
The motor weighs 975 g and its KV is 65. With the nominal 3.7 V per cell, that works out on 22 to 25S to between about 5,300 and 6,000 rpm at no load. The peak current of 68 A applies for 180 s; at that voltage the electrical power works out to between 5.5 and 6.3 kW. The maximum thrust of 28,700 g is a test-stand value with the G32x11 propeller at 100 % throttle, more than 29 times the motor's own weight. ESC and battery are sized by current, not by a power figure without a time base.
A full 25S battery stands at 105 V (25 x 4.2 V). That is high voltage: assembly, cabling and maintenance belong in the hands of qualified staff, and the ESC must be rated for 25S. The EU open category ends at 25 kg take-off mass; above that an operational authorisation in the specific category is needed. A battery of this voltage sits far above the 160 Wh air-transport limit and falls under dangerous-goods rules.
The narrow range of 22 to 25S requires battery and ESC to match it exactly; with fewer cells, speed and thrust change markedly. The 32-inch propeller creates large radial loads on the bearings, so balancing matters. Before use, check the winding's insulation resistance, the bearing run and the bell's concentricity.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
