This page gathers the Volvo BM tractors the register could not assign to a named range, with the animal-named ranges Buster, Boxer, Victor and Bison as well as numerous T types. Volvo BM was formed in 1950 from the merger of Volvo's tractor operations with the Swedish farm-machinery maker Bolinder-Munktell of Eskilstuna; the agricultural division passed to the Finnish group Valmet in 1979. The T numbers such as the T 650 or T 814 give roughly the engine power in hp, while the Buster, Boxer or Victor suffix denotes the respective model range.

The register lists here 39 versions with 21 to 103 kW from two- to six-cylinder engines of 1,800 to 5,483 cm³, unladen weights of 1,570 to 7,500 kg, gross weights up to 8,440 kg, lengths of 2,750 to 4,650 mm, widths of 1,249 to 2,450 mm and heights of 2,250 to 3,050 mm; torque ranges from 218 to 485 Nm at rated speeds of 2,200 to 2,300 rpm. Engines came from Volvo, Volvo BM, Perkins and Bolinders.

Until its sale to Valmet, Volvo BM was one of the leading Scandinavian tractor makers, with a strong position in Sweden, Norway and Finland; the rugged models were particularly sought after for forestry and municipal work in the Nordic climate.

When buying used, rust on the frame and cab, the condition of the hydraulic pump and clutch, and on the larger T models the front-axle bearings all matter. Parts partly overlap with later Valmet and Valtra stock, but are increasingly only found through specialists.
