The scissor lifts under the Terex name are Genie designs: since Terex took over the aerial-platform maker Genie of Redmond near Seattle in 2002, the lifts have run worldwide under the Genie brand, but in some markets and rental fleets also with a Terex badge – the GS types in the register are identical to the Genie GS. The type logic follows the American convention: GS stands for Genie Scissor, the first digits give the platform height in feet, the last the platform width in inches – a GS1930 is 19 ft high and 30 in wide, a GS3246 32 ft and 46 in, a GS5390RT 53 ft and 90 in. The suffixes name drive and duty: the models without suffix are the electric indoor lifts, RT the diesel rough-terrain lifts with all-wheel drive, DC the electric rough-terrain lifts with battery drive, AV an equipment variant.

The register lists 21 versions with service weights from 1,168 to 7,515 kg, lengths from 1,830 to 4,880 mm and widths from 760 to 2,362 mm; the rough-terrain lifts deliver 18.5 to 55.9 kW with Kubota diesels and Ford DSG-423 petrol engines, the indoor lifts run on battery.
The GS1930 – 760 mm wide, 5.8 m platform height – is, together with the JLG 1930ES, the most-hired work platform in the world; the GS5390RT with 16 m platform height is the site lift for façades and hall roofs.
On used lifts, operating hours, battery condition on electric models, play in scissor pins and rails, hydraulic tightness, the function of tilt and overload sensors and a valid periodic inspection count; parts run through the Genie network.
