Recorded operating weight runs from 3,730 to 4,670 kg, wheelbase of the recorded models is 2,489 mm, and top speed spans 40 to 40.1 km/h. Within the Celtis family, versions with the RA and RX suffixes were offered, differing in chassis or equipment.
Within the CLAAS range, the Celtis sat below the Ares as a compact tractor for smaller and medium farms and grassland work. Buyers of a used Celtis should check the exact variant, as tyre size, ground clearance and equipment can differ.
With rated outputs from 53 to 76 kW, the Celtis falls within ISO 730 Category II for the rear three-point hitch, with a standard dual-speed power take-off at 540 and 1,000 revolutions per minute. The four-cylinder diesel engines come from John Deere, a manufacturer that remains active today and still supplies spare parts for these model years, including injection and turbocharger components for the cooling and fuel systems.
