The Molicel INR-21700-P60C is a 21700 cell from the Ultra High Power series of Molicel (E-One Moli Energy Corp.) in Taipei, Taiwan. It combines 6.0 Ah with high current capability and is intended for small FPV drones where weight and current count equally, for example compact packs with a lot of energy.
The cell stores 6,000 mAh at 3.6 V nominal voltage, which is 21.6 Wh, at 284 Wh/kg; that is a cell figure and drops in the finished pack. For current, the manufacturer's page gives up to 100 A discharge current without expressly stating it as a continuous current. It therefore has no fixed time basis and cannot be compared with continuous ratings of other cells, for example the 60 A of the P50B, which apply with cut-off at 80 °C.
Six cells in series (6S1P) come to 129.6 Wh and so lie between the IATA limits of 100 and 160 Wh; there the airline must agree to carriage of spare batteries, and just two parallel groups (6S2P) exceed the upper limit with 259.2 Wh. Lithium cells must meet the tests of UN 38.3 for transport. Cell connectors and protection electronics belong, when building the pack, in a specialist workshop.
When choosing, what counts is how much current the pack actually draws: only a current well below the peak value keeps the cell cool. Under high load every connection in the pack can become a heat source. Molicel releases the data sheet through a contact form. High-grade cells are often counterfeited, so buy only from reputable dealers.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
