Someca GOLD-RIBBON SERIE

The register lists 36 live models, from the Someca 250 (DT) to the 1300 SUPER (DT), built between 1968 and around 1983. Output ranges from 18.4 to 106.6 kW, weight from 1,070 to 5,650 kg, displacement from 1,559 to 7,412 cm3 across two-, three-, four- and six-cylinder engines.

The Gold Ribbon range thus covers practically the entire Fiat-Someca power spectrum of those years, from a compact two-cylinder up to the large six-cylinder 1300 model. Technically, these tractors largely match the equivalent ranges sold in parallel under the Fiat name.

In 1983 Someca was fully absorbed into the Fiatagri division, which became Fiat New Holland in 1993 and later CNH Global — an endpoint that closes out the Gold Ribbon era.

The huge power spread from 18.4 to 106.6 kW means several categories of the ISO 730 three-point linkage occur within the Gold Ribbon range: the small two-cylinder models mostly Category 0 or I, the large six-cylinders already Category II. On a specific example, the actual hitch category should therefore be checked before buying new implements, rather than relying on the model name alone.
