The register lists here 487 versions with 0.75 to 160 kW, two- to eight-pole, full-load efficiencies from 76 to 96.2% and at 75% load from 76.1 to 96.4%. Protection is mostly IP55 (344), in many cases extended with IP56 and IP66; frame sizes run from 80 to 355. China (477) dominates the manufacturing countries, with the USA, Chile, Colombia and Congo recorded singly. Testing mostly followed the 2019 GEMS determination (363) and AS/NZS 1359.5:2004 (115), with test method A for the majority; of 486 classified motors, 255 reach the 2005 High Efficiency Level (roughly IE2), 231 remain unclassified.

Marathon is one of the long-established US motor brands and today, within the Regal Rexnord group alongside brands such as Leeson and Rexnord, stands for drive technology in industry and building services; the range chiefly covers standard and pump motors for the North American and the Australia-Pacific markets.

When buying used, bearing condition and a checked insulation resistance of the winding, the condition of shaft and key, visible corrosion on the terminal box and fan cover, and a legible nameplate with frame size, pole count and, where present, the E3 mark for the efficiency class matter; on the many lots made exclusively in China, winding quality and bearing play are worth a look. Spares and service run through the Regal Rexnord network.
