The G series was the main line of the tractor manufacturer Güldner, based in Aschaffenburg, and covered a wide power spectrum from 1962 to 1969. A synchronised gearbox, as fitted to the S models of the G series, allows shifting between adjacent gears without an intermediate clutch action and without the extra throttle blip needed on unsynchronised gearboxes, easing gear changes during field work. Across the entire power range of the G series up to 47.6 kW, the three-point hitch stayed within category I under ISO 730, and the PTO ran at 540 rpm. Parts for the G series are today mainly available through specialist Güldner and vintage-machinery dealers.
