The Landini Landpower 135 belongs to the Landpower series. The engine delivers 133 hp (98 kW), has 6 cylinders, with a displacement of 6,728 cm³. The machine is 5,145 mm long, 2,212 mm wide and 2,780 mm high. The unladen weight is 5,800 kg. The wheelbase measures 2,800 mm. The tank holds 260 litres. Tyres: rear 520/70R38. The Landpower series covers 16 models. Rated output within it ranges from 117 to 186 hp; the Landpower 135 sits in the lower part of that range with 133 hp. Its immediate neighbours are the Landpower 125 TDI below it with 119.2 hp and the Landpower 135 TDI above it with 135.9 hp. Unladen weight within it ranges from 5,787.8 to 6,250 kg; here the Landpower 135 sits at the bottom of that range with 5,800 kg. 222 Landini models across 35 series are on record.

Landini Landpower (1998–2010s) – the six-cylinders from Fabbrico: Landpower 125 to 185, TDI for turbo intercooling, T3 for Tier 3, Dual Power, Perkins 1106 of 6 litres, 86 to 137 kW

The Landpower was Landini's large tractor of the years after the takeover by the Argo group in 1994 – the range with which the maker from Fabbrico pushed above the Legend models into the 120 to 185 hp class where arable farms and contractors buy. The type logic: the number roughly gives the output in hp – Landpower 125, 135, 145, 165, 180 and 185 – TDI marks the version with turbocharger and charge-air cooling, T3 the generation with Tier 3 engines from 2007, Dual Power a version with power boost for PTO and transport work. The engines are Perkins 1106-series six-cylinders of 6 litres, as Argo also used in the McCormick MTX sister models.

The register lists 16 versions with 86 to 136.8 kW (117 to 171 hp) from six-cylinders of 5,981 to 6,728 cm³ at 2,200 rpm, PTO outputs of 107 to 165 hp, unladen weights from 5,788 to 6,250 kg, lengths from 5,145 to 5,450 mm, widths from 2,060 to 2,486 mm and heights from 2,780 to 2,810 mm.

The Landpowers were the first Landinis with full-frame construction and powershift in this class – the design Argo also used at McCormick after buying it in 2001; the Perkins engines secure parts through any Perkins network.

On used tractors, operating hours, engine condition, the powershift (clutch packs), hydraulics and front axle and the cab electrics count; parts run through Argo dealers and Perkins.

What to check before buying

  • Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
  • Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
  • Check the weights in the papers against the figures here — attachments change them.
  • Check front and rear tyre sizes: mismatched pairs strain the drivetrain.
  • Load the hydraulics and watch for sag.
  • Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
