The SpeedyBee F7 V3 (China) is an F722 FPV flight controller in 30x30 format with a BMI270 gyro and a BMP280 barometer; the Betaflight target is called SPEEDYBEEF7V3. The manufacturer lists it as discontinued, so it is one of the phased-out SpeedyBee boards for manual FPV flight.
The processor is an STM32F722, an F7 class that according to the part description is enough for many FPV uses but offers less reserve for elaborate filters than an H7. The BMI270 is a widely used gyro in Betaflight boards, and the BMP280 measures air pressure and supplies altitude. Betaflight serves as firmware. Interfaces are 5 UART, of which UART4 is taken by ESC telemetry, plus an AT7456E OSD that overlays flight data on the analogue video picture. The input voltage is 3S to 6S LiPo. The board measures 41 × 38 × 8.1 mm with a hole pattern of 30.5 × 30.5 mm and weighs 10.7 g; elsewhere the manufacturer's page gives 36.5 × 36.5 × 7 mm, so the dimension is checked on the sample before installation.
In the EU the class follows from the finished drone: C0 is below 250 g, C1 below 900 g with Direct Remote ID. Anyone flying with goggles needs an observer in the open category.
When selecting: a phased-out board is bought only as a replacement within existing equipment, and for new builds current successors are checked. With 5 UART and one of them taken by ESC telemetry, few free ports remain for GPS and extra devices. Wear shows at the USB socket and solder pads; propeller damage raises gyro noise, before updates the configuration is saved, and after modifications the attitude is calibrated.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
