The SkyRC PC1500-12/14S is a two-channel mains charger for 12S and 14S batteries from the PC series of SkyRC, a manufacturer from Shenzhen. The series is meant for agricultural and industrial drones with 6S to 24S. The PC1500 is intended for heavy multicopters.
The power depends on the mains: 1,500 W applies on 220 V mains with 25 A charge current, and on 120 V mains it falls to 600 W and 9 A. The unit has two channels and charges 12S and 14S, for LiHV 12S. It supports lithium batteries and smart batteries with CAN communication; these are packs with their own electronics that store cell state and charge cycles and talk to the charger. The input is AC 100 to 240 V. There is also a discharge function of 60 W. The unit weighs 4,200 g and measures 294 × 136 × 212 mm.
Fully charged, a 12S LiPo pack has 50.4 V, a 12S LiHV pack 52.2 V and a 14S LiPo pack 58.8 V. At 12S the IATA limit of 160 Wh is reached at about 3.6 Ah, which is 160 Wh divided by 44.4 V nominal voltage; packs of this class as a rule exceed it and then do not travel on passenger aircraft. The usual rules apply when charging: only according to the manufacturer's instructions, under supervision, on a non-flammable surface, ideally in a charging bag. Smart batteries need a charger that understands their protocol.
When choosing, what counts is which mains is available: in regions with 120 V the unit charges at less than half the power. Per kilowatt hour of pack energy it needs 40 minutes by calculation at 1,500 W. The discharge function can bring packs to storage voltage. Wear shows in the fan and dust in the housing; keep the ventilation openings clear.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
