The Grepow UHV Semi-Solid 33Ah 12S 4.45V (part number TARBUHV33K12S10X) is a semi-solid lithium battery from Shenzhen Grepow Battery with ultra-high-voltage cells for heavy multicopters. Twelve cells in series give a nominal 47.4 V at 33 Ah; the pack measures 109.1 × 120.5 × 222 mm. It is not identical to the 4.2 V version with the same cell count and capacity.
At 4.45 V per cell the full-charge voltage is 53.4 V. 47.4 V and 33 Ah give 1,564.2 Wh; at 6,051 g that is 258.5 Wh/kg at pack level. The continuous current is 99 A (3C), about 4.7 kW, and a peak of 330 A is allowed for at most 15 s. The higher cell voltage raises nominal voltage and energy compared with packs built on 4.2 V cells; charger and ESC have to be set up for it.
1,564.2 Wh is far above 160 Wh. Under the IATA passenger leaflet (February 2019 edition) the pack travels only as dangerous-goods cargo, not as a spare in hand baggage; every shipment requires UN 38.3 testing, and airline rules may be stricter. At about 6 kg the pack makes up just under a quarter of the 25 kg take-off mass that EU classes C3 and C4 allow.
When buying, the version must be checked: the same capacity and cell count is offered with 4.2 V and with 4.45 V cells, and only the latter match the nominal 47.4 V and the full-charge voltage of 53.4 V. The continuous current of 99 A must cover the hover current of the aircraft with reserve. Wear shows as lost cycles, growing voltage sag and deformed cells; the twelve cell voltages are checked at the 13-pin balance lead. Storage is in the middle of the charge range as the maker specifies.
