Berna was a Swiss truck manufacturer based in Olten that built its own commercial vehicles until 1978, after which the brand became part of the Saurer group. As a smaller Swiss manufacturer, Berna competed, alongside Saurer and FBW, with the larger German and French truck brands and mainly supplied domestic construction and municipal transport as well as haulage firms in the Alpine region. The models gathered here mostly date from the middle decades of the company's history and span the range from light distribution trucks to heavy tractor units.
