The register lists here 13 versions with 0.75 to 55 kW, exclusively four-pole, full-load efficiencies from 83.7 to 95.1% and at 75% load from 82.8 to 95.1%. Frame sizes run from 80 to 225, protection is IP54 and IP55, voltage is uniformly 415 V, mounting form is consistently B5. Testing followed the 2019 GEMS determination, mostly with test method B; of 13 motors, 3 reach the 2005 High Efficiency Level and 2 the 2018 level, the remaining 8 stay unclassified.

Sumitomo is one of the large Japanese industrial groups with its own drive-technology division; the four-pole standard motors on this page chiefly complement gear motors and planetary drives there into complete drive solutions for conveyors, agitators and packaging machinery.

When buying used, bearing condition and a checked insulation resistance of the winding, the condition of shaft, key and fan cover, a legible nameplate with range, frame size and efficiency class, and on the B5 flange motors the condition of the centring spigot on the bearing shield all matter; spares run through Sumitomo's distribution.
