Robur – collective page of Garant and Granit versions outside the named series: 3,181 cc four-cylinder, gross weight 3,185 to 3,500 kg, width 1,970 to 1,990 mm
The VEB Robur-Werke in Zittau built LO- and LD-series trucks from 1961 to 1991; this collective page lists two versions the register assigns to the Robur works without allocating them to either named LO or LD series. The VF/PR suffix on the second version marks a body or equipment variant.

The register lists here 2 versions of 3,181 cc from the four-cylinder engine, kerb weights from 2,140 to 2,578 kg, gross weights from 3,185 to 3,500 kg and widths from 1,970 to 1,990 mm.
Commercial vehicles from the Zittau works supplied agriculture, trades and municipalities in East Germany with rugged, easily repaired technology, and remained in everyday use across eastern Germany and eastern Europe well after 1991.
When buying one of these historic vehicles used, check for rust on the frame, cab and load bed, the condition of the engine, clutch and mechanical brake system, the availability of reproduction parts through classic-vehicle specialists, and the state of the wiring and seals after a long layup.
Robur built the LO and LD ranges in cab-over (forward-control) layout: the cab sits above the engine, which for a given overall length yields more load or seating space but means engine work requires tilting or removing the cab. This layout was common across the Eastern Bloc and also characterised other light commercial vehicles of the era.
