This page gathers vehicles of the American M35 truck family the register could not assign to a named range – from the original REO design through the M35A2 built by Kaiser Jeep to the M816 recovery vehicle. The REO Motor Car Company developed the 2.5-tonne all-wheel-drive truck in the early 1950s for the US military; from 1963 production passed to the Kaiser Jeep Corporation, later followed by AM General and BMY. The 6×6 M35, known by its payload as the Deuce and a Half, was built in numerous variants, including the M109 workshop van and the M816 recovery vehicle with a crane boom.

On a used purchase, the condition of the multifuel engine and its injection system, rust on the frame and brake lines, the condition of the portal axles and the central tyre inflation system, and – on the M816 – the condition of the winch and crane boom count; parts come through the trade in surplus military vehicles.
