At outputs above 75 kW, turbocharging with an intercooler is practically standard on six-cylinder diesel engines of this generation, to reduce specific fuel consumption. The three-point hitch of the 6010 series matched category II under ISO 730 throughout the range. Parts for the 6010 series remain well available through the John Deere dealer network. AutoQuad transmissions additionally automate the change between power-shift groups, whereas with PowrQuad the driver selects the group manually; both allow shifting within one group without using the clutch under load.
