This page gathers Jaguar models that the register could not assign to a named range. Jaguar Cars of Coventry emerged in 1945 from the coachbuilder SS Cars founded in 1935 and passed through British Leyland and Ford before moving to Tata Motors in 2008. Daimler, a long-established British maker, was taken over by Jaguar in 1960 and lived on as a separate luxury brand usually sharing Jaguar engineering – the Sovereign was Daimler's trim variant of the respective Jaguar saloon, as with the 420, sold in parallel as the Jaguar 420 and the Daimler Sovereign. The Mark 2 of 1959 is regarded as one of the style-defining post-war Jaguar sports saloons. The S-Type first appeared in 1963 as an offshoot of the Mark 2 and was relaunched as a standalone model under Ford in 1999. The X350 XJ generation of 2003 was the first Jaguar saloon with an all-aluminium body; the XJ220 of 1992 was a limited-production supercar with a twin-turbo V6 that, at launch, was regarded as one of the fastest production cars in the world.

The register lists here 7 versions, from the classic saloons Mark 2, 420 and Daimler Sovereign through the S-Type and XJ (X350) to the XJ220 supercar.

The models span seven decades of brand history: from the Mark 2 as an icon of the British sports saloon through the dual marketing as Jaguar and Daimler to the XJ220 as a technical exclamation mark and the modern aluminium construction of the X350 generation, with which Jaguar saved weight.

On used Mark 2, 420 and Sovereign models, rust on wings, sills and floor pan and the condition of the carburettors and braking system count; on the S-Type and XJ (X350), electronics, air suspension and, on the aluminium bodies, competent accident repair. On the XJ220, service history, the condition of the turbochargers and the small number of specialists for service and parts count.
