This page gathers Holden vehicles the register could not assign to a named range, from the classic 1970s HQ One Tonner to current Commodore Ute variants. Holden was General Motors' Australian subsidiary, based in Fishermans Bend near Melbourne, and created the ute, a pick-up version of the corresponding passenger car on a lengthened chassis, as its own Australian vehicle category; the WB range marks the last commercial-vehicle generation built on the HQ frame, and the Maloo is Holden Special Vehicles' high-performance version.

The register lists 13 versions here with six- and eight-cylinder engines from 2,850 to 6,162 cm³, kerb weights from 1,190 to 1,920 kg, gross vehicle weights from 1,340 to 2,815 kg and widths from 1,395 to 1,900 mm.

Until local Holden production ended in 2017, the ute was a distinct Australian vehicle class between a pick-up and a sports car, with the Maloo as its strongest production version; after the brand closed in 2020, imported models such as the Ford Ranger took over the segment, while used Holden utes became sought after.

When buying used, check the load bed and its galvanising, corrosion at the rear guards and spring mounts, the condition of the differential and clutch on the stronger V8 versions, and on the Maloo the originality of the HSV equipment. Since production ended, parts increasingly come through specialist Holden parts suppliers in Australia.
