When buying used, check the load bed and its galvanising, corrosion at the rear guards and spring mounts, the condition of the differential and clutch on the stronger V8 versions, and on the Maloo the originality of the HSV equipment. Since production ended, parts increasingly come through specialist Holden parts suppliers in Australia.
