The Agroplus series has complemented the Deutz-Fahr range since 1997 as the compact entry class below the Agrotron series; the register lists models up to 2013. Recorded operating weight runs from 2,750 to 4,160 kg, and top speed of the listed models is 40 km/h. Later models such as the Agroplus 420 Profiline show that the series gained higher-grade equipment lines over the years.

Deutz-Fahr as a tractor brand belongs to the Italian SDF Group (SAME Deutz-Fahr), which is a separate company from the Cologne engine maker Deutz AG; both still supply spare parts for their respective ranges today, including for the older Agroplus model years covered here.
