The V20 carries a diesel engine of 2,970 cm³ displacement producing 62 kW – an output that powers the drive, sweeping rollers and suction fan of a single compact vehicle. With an unladen weight of 2,700 kg and a gross weight of 4,800 kg, about two tonnes remain for sweepings, water tank and bodywork; a length of 4,550 mm and a width of 1,420 mm keep the vehicle narrow enough for pavements and tight old-town streets.

Vehicles of this type are type-approved under EU Regulation (EU) No 167/2013 for agricultural and forestry vehicles, the category into which many compact municipal vehicles with mounted working equipment fall. The bodywork combines sweeping rollers, suction mouth and debris hopper on a manoeuvrable chassis built for daily work on pavements, in pedestrian zones and on narrow streets, not for field use.

When buying a compact sweeper of this size second-hand, the condition of the sweeping rollers and side brooms, the tightness of the suction duct and fan, corrosion on the debris hopper and water tank, and the operating hours of the drive and working hydraulics all matter. Rust on the chassis and the condition of the suction filter system give further insight into how hard the machine has been worked.
