The Jubiläumsserie brings together Steyr's 188, 188 N, 190 and 288 types, built at the St. Valentin plant in Upper Austria. As with the Plus series, the three-digit type number orders the models by power class, with the 188 and 190 in the lower and the 288 in the upper part of the range covered here; the letter N on the 188 N denotes a revised version of the base 188 type. Steyr, active in tractor building since the 1940s, covered the mid-market segment for smaller and medium farms with these compact two- to four-cylinder tractors.
