Buying one of the now-rare MAN Ackerdiesel tractors calls for checking the engine and injection pump, the tightness of the gearbox and four-wheel-drive system, and corrosion on sheet-metal parts after more than sixty years. As production has long ended, parts are now only available through collectors, vintage-tractor clubs and specialist dealers.
