Ingersoll Rand built a broad range of asphalt pavers under the PF (Paver) designation, from the compact PF150 for smaller jobs to the large PF6170 for motorway construction; the four-digit number on the larger types gives roughly the paving output or machine size. Ingersoll Rand's road-building business passed to Volvo Construction Equipment in 2007, which has continued to build the pavers under its own name since. As engines the register lists mainly Cummins units of the QSB range (QSB 5.9 and QSB 6.7 in several versions and emissions stages) and one air-cooled Deutz F3L912.
