The Tattu TA3000 PLUS is a single-channel 3 kW mains charger for packs from 12S to 24S, intended for heavy multicopters. Tattu is the drone battery brand of Grepow in Shenzhen, with FPV LiPo packs, UAV LiPo and UHV packs, smart packs and semi-solid packs. The unit charges soft packs and Tattu smart batteries.
The power depends on the mains: 3,000 W at 40 A applies on 220 V mains, and on 110 V mains it is 1,200 W at 25 A. The unit has only one channel, so all the power goes to one battery. The cell range runs from 12S to 24S, and LiPo, LiHV, LiUHV and Tattu smart batteries are supported. The input is AC 100 to 240 V. The unit weighs 6,000 g and measures 276 × 154 × 216 mm.
3,000 W corresponds to about 13 A on 230 V mains; a usual 16 A circuit is largely used up by that. From a pack voltage of about 75 V, that is from around 18S, the power limits the current below the 40 A. A 24S LiPo pack has 100.8 V when fully charged; at that voltage care is needed with exposed contacts. Smart batteries store cell state and charge cycles and talk to the charger, which must understand their protocol. Charge lithium batteries only according to the manufacturer's instructions, under supervision and on a non-flammable surface, ideally in a charging bag.
When choosing, remember that only one pack is charged at a time: anyone changing several large packs per mission charges them one after another. Per kilowatt hour of pack energy the unit needs 20 minutes by calculation at 3,000 W, and 50 on 110 V mains at 1,200 W. With LiHV and LiUHV packs the mode is chosen deliberately, because each step means a higher end-of-charge voltage and a wrong mode overcharges a pack. Keep the ventilation openings clear and check fan and dust.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
