The Tattu TA1000 is a two-channel mains charger for 1S to 7S, intended for medium multicopters. Tattu is the drone battery brand of Grepow in Shenzhen, with FPV LiPo packs, UAV LiPo and UHV packs, smart packs and semi-solid packs. The TA1000 is meant for packs of up to 7S, as used by medium multicopters.
The total power is 1,000 W, split into 2 × 500 W, and the charge current is 25 A. The cell range runs from 1S to 7S, and LiPo and LiHV are supported. A 7S pack is fully charged at 29.4 V as LiPo or 30.45 V as LiHV. The input is AC 100 to 240 V; there is no DC input. The unit weighs 1,700 g and measures 186 × 174 × 95 mm. On 230 V mains it draws about 4.3 A at full power.
The usual rules apply when charging: lithium batteries only according to the manufacturer's instructions, under supervision and on a non-flammable surface, ideally in a charging bag; do not charge damaged or swollen packs. The choice between LiPo and LiHV is made deliberately, because the end-of-charge voltage is 4.2 or 4.35 V per cell, and a LiPo pack charged in LiHV mode is overcharged.
When choosing, the power source counts: without a DC input the TA1000 is a unit for workshop, store or a vehicle with an inverter, not for use in the field without mains. 100 Wh of pack energy charges at 500 W per channel in 12 minutes by calculation, plus balancing. The charge current must not exceed the value permitted in the battery data sheet. Packs that are to sit for a long time belong at storage voltage of about 3.8 V per cell. Keep the ventilation openings clear.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
