The iFlight XING2 2207 1855KV is a 5-inch FPV motor in Unibell construction for freestyle and racing on 6S. iFlight is a Chinese maker of FPV drives. The bell is made of 7075 aluminium, the bearings come from NSK and the shaft is a 5 mm titanium shaft. The case measures 29.08 mm in diameter and 32.6 mm in height.
The 2207 stator is 22 mm in diameter and 7 mm in height. The maker states 24 V input voltage, which corresponds to 6S; at 1,855 KV that gives a no-load speed of roughly 41,200 rpm. The motor weighs 31.6 g including cable. As maximum values iFlight quotes 841.9 W and 35.08 A, which together give 24 V. That is about 27 W per gram of motor mass, understood as a peak value.
The maker's 24 V figure applies to 6S; on 4S the same winding turns only about 27,500 rpm unloaded. Motor, speed controller (ESC) and battery must carry the same cell count, and the controller needs headroom above 35 A. Power figures hold only with their time basis, and makers use 3 to 180 s. For the rules the weight of the whole drone counts: EU classes C0 to C6 by take-off mass, operator registration from 250 g or with a camera.
The 7075 aluminium bell is hard and does not bend as easily as softer alloys; after a hard impact the damage shows more often in shaft and bearings. The checks are the true running of the titanium shaft, the NSK bearings for roughness and play, and the seating of the mounting screws. A motor that is hot after landing is working with a propeller that is too large or a load that is too high; the consequence is discoloured winding varnish.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
