The Herewin 3C 12S1P 44.4V 30000mAh Anode-Free UAV Battery is an anode-free lithium-metal battery from Herewin (Shenzhen Jiaying Shidai Technology) for heavy multicopters. Twelve cells in series give a nominal 44.4 V at 30 Ah.
44.4 V and 30 Ah give 1,332 Wh; at 2,930 g that is about 455 Wh/kg when calculated. The title quotes 495 Wh/kg; the pack value is lower and is the one that counts when comparing with other packs. The 3C discharge corresponds to 90 A continuous or about 4 kW, calculated from capacity times C figure. At that power the pack lasts about 20 minutes at full load by calculation, correspondingly longer at part load.
1,332 Wh is far above 160 Wh. Under the IATA passenger leaflet (February 2019 edition) the pack travels only as dangerous-goods cargo, not as a spare in hand baggage; every shipment requires UN 38.3 testing. For a lithium-metal pack the classification in the maker's transport document is decisive, and airline rules may be stricter. At 2.93 kg the pack is one of the large items in the take-off mass.
Anode-free lithium-metal cells are a comparatively young technology: cycle count and capacity retention are the quantities by which their wear can be read, and the maker's charging instructions must be kept. For hovering, the continuous current of 90 A must suffice with reserve. The twelve cell voltages are checked at the 13-pin balance lead; deformed cells are also a reason to retire the pack. At almost 3 kg the pack is firmly mounted and protected against pressure.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
