Zetor Super-range tractors were widely used, rugged and easy-to-maintain standard tractors for farms across Czechoslovakia and the wider Eastern Bloc, and were exported in large numbers; the brand is still associated today with durable, mechanically simple engineering. That reputation for simplicity is one reason so many examples have survived in working order to this day.
When buying used, condition of the injection pump and cooling, the clutch and gearbox, and rust on sheet-metal parts and mudguards all matter; since the range has not been produced for decades, spare parts are mainly available through the used-parts market and Eastern European Zetor specialists.
