Ursus is the long-established Polish tractor maker with its main plant in the Warsaw district of the same name, building agricultural machinery since the 1920s. From the 1960s the C series supplied small, robust two-cylinder diesels for smaller and medium-sized farms in Poland and neighbouring countries; the three-digit number orders the models within the range by power step. This page gathers the closely related types C-325, C-328 and C-330. Until the political transition of 1989, Ursus belonged to Poland's state-owned agricultural machinery combines and supplied other Eastern Bloc states besides the domestic market.

In Polish farming, with its many small and medium-sized plots, these Ursus types were standard equipment for decades, robust, easy to repair and widespread well into the years after the transition; similar two-cylinder Ursus types were also exported to other Eastern Bloc countries. The simple, low-maintenance technology allowed repairs even far from authorised workshops, which explains their long service life on Polish farms.
When buying used, what counts is the condition of the injection pump and piston rings of the two-cylinder engine, clutch and brakes, the tightness of the hydraulics, and corrosion on wings and bonnet; parts for this simple mechanism are usually still available through Polish farm machinery dealers.
