Ural Automotive Plant of Miass in the Ural Mountains has built all-wheel-drive trucks for the Russian military and economy since 1944; the 375 range of the 1960s and 1970s and its successor, the Ural-4320 from 1977, count among the best-known Soviet and Russian military trucks. This page gathers the versions outside the named ranges, including the types 375 AZ, 375 D and the 4320, all built on a simple, off-road ladder-frame chassis.

The register lists here 5 versions with eight-cylinders of 7,000 to 10,850 cm³, unladen weights from 8,360 to 9,660 kg, gross weights from 10,000 to 13,200 kg, lengths from 7,850 to 8,040 mm and widths from 2,500 to 2,550 mm.

The Ural-4320 with six-wheel all-wheel drive remains in service with Russian forces and in civilian versions for oil and gas extraction and heavy off-road use in Siberia and Central Asia; the 375 range with its carburettor engine was its direct predecessor and shaped the image of Soviet trucks for decades, before diesel power took over in later generations.

On these off-road trucks, the condition of axles and transfer case, tyres and the central tyre-inflation system where fitted, corrosion of frame and load bed, and the engine history count; parts for this range run mainly through specialists in Russian military and off-road vehicles and Eastern European parts dealers, and stock can vary considerably by region.
