Steyr (SLT) 900er-Baureihe

The register lists here 5 versions with 30.9 to 51.5 kW from three-cylinders of 2,356 to 3,117 cc, unladen weights from 2,310 to 3,060 kg, lengths from 3,290 to 3,805 mm, widths from 1,740 to 2,070 mm, heights from 2,260 to 2,425 mm and a torque of 209 Nm at rated speeds of 2,300 to 2,400 rpm. The engines run on either diesel or RME.

The 900 range covered the lower to mid class in the Steyr programme of the 1990s for smaller and medium farms in Austria and the alpine countries, as the base below the brand's bigger six-cylinder ranges. It thus rounded out the programme with an economical three-cylinder alternative to the bigger Steyr ranges.

On the 900 range, what counts is operating hours, the condition of the three-cylinder diesel, clutch and gearbox, the tightness of the hydraulics, and rust on the cab and mudguards on these now-older machines; parts run through the CNH and Steyr network, on older model years partly only second-hand, as well as the working order of the lighting and the condition of the clutch disc on these machines often run in daily use.
