The span from just under 2 to nearly 12 tonnes unladen weight shows a programme reaching from medium to heavy trailers, covering different haulage tasks in road freight transport. Such a broad programme lets hauliers choose, depending on the job, between lighter and heavier trailers from the same maker.

Buying used, check for rust on the frame and chassis rails, the condition of axles, brakes and the overrun brake device, the tightness of the body and tarpaulin, and tyres and lighting; on the larger semi-trailers also the condition of the fifth-wheel coupling and landing legs. Parts for axles, brakes and couplings run through the general commercial-trailer parts trade.
