Testing mostly followed AS/NZS 1359.5:2004 (33) and the older 2000 Legacy standard (30), with test methods B (53) and A (11); of 64 motors, only 1 carries a documented High Efficiency Level, the remaining 63 stay unclassified.

When buying used, what matters is bearing condition and a checked insulation resistance of the winding, visible corrosion on the terminal box and fan cover, the condition of shaft and key, and a legible nameplate with frame size and pole count; since practically none of the motors carries a High Efficiency classification, actual efficiency should be measured if in doubt. Spares and support depend on the distribution channel.
