This page gathers trucks of the Saviem marque that the register could not assign to a named range. Saviem (Société Anonyme de Véhicules Industriels et d'Équipements Mécaniques) was formed in 1955 from the merger of the commercial-vehicle divisions of Renault, Somua and Latil, and was one of the major French truck makers until the brand was discontinued in 1978, when it became part of Renault Véhicules Industriels. The SG range of the 1970s and 1980s – represented here by models such as the SG 4 and SG 5 – was among the brand's best-known heavy cab-over trucks.

Saviem trucks shaped French road haulage in the post-war decades and competed with Berliet, Unic and foreign manufacturers before the brand was absorbed into Renault as part of the consolidation of the French commercial-vehicle industry.

When buying used, check corrosion on the cab and frame, the condition of the gearbox and clutch, the brakes, and on older models the availability of wear parts; since Saviem no longer exists as an independent brand, spare parts generally run through successor stock at Renault Trucks and specialist vintage-vehicle dealers.
