SAME Deutz Fahr Serie 5

The register lists 3 versions with 69.5 to 85.5 kW rated output at a constant 2,200 rpm. The four-cylinder engines produce a constant 3,620 cm³ displacement, torque ranges from 397 to 480 Nm. Operating weights lie between 4,150 and 4,700 kg, heights between 2,690 and 2,765 mm. All three models are designed to run on diesel or B100 biodiesel.

With the stepless TTV transmission on two of the three models, Series 5 sits in the mid power segment against competitors such as John Deere and Fendt, which also offer stepless transmission variants in this class. The fixed-ratio base model 5100 targets more price-conscious buyers with a classic power-shift gearbox.

When buying a used TTV model, checking the transmission oil and cooling system of the stepless gearbox is especially worthwhile, since repairs there are costly.
