Renault TS-Baureihe

The register lists here five versions with 55.2 to 73.6 kW, or 75 to 100 hp, from four- or six-cylinder engines of 4,156 to 6,234 cm³ displacement, torque from 244 to 374 Nm, unladen weights from 3,348 to 5,200 kg, lengths from 3,934 to 4,603 mm, widths from 1,980 to 2,080 mm and heights from 2,775 to 2,905 mm at a rated speed of 2,350 rpm.

In the 1970s Renault ranked alongside Fiat, Massey Ferguson and Deutz among the major suppliers on the west European tractor market; the TS range, with its power span, covered the segment of medium to larger field tractors for farms with mixed cropping.

When buying used, the condition of the injection pump and cooling system, wear on clutch and gearbox and corrosion on the cab frame and wings matter; spare parts for Renault tractors of this generation are stocked by specialist farm-machinery dealers and parts traders for historic Renault equipment. On mixed farms, the TS range handled both drawbar work and PTO-driven tasks for harvesting and tillage equipment. Cab mounting points and wiring harnesses also merit a close look after decades of field service.
