OM (Officine Meccaniche) was an Italian vehicle maker founded in Brescia in 1899, which belonged to Fiat from 1938 and was absorbed into the newly founded Iveco in 1975. This page gathers the trucks outside the named ranges, including the light types 50-B and 75-A and the 80 B; among the standalone model names are also the Leoncino and the Cerbiatto, two well-known post-war OM ranges built into the 1970s.

The register lists here 8 versions with four-cylinder engines, including a displacement of 4,397 cm³, unladen weights from 2,440 to 4,476 kg, gross weights from 3,500 to 8,100 kg and widths from 2,050 to 2,200 mm.

OM, with the Leoncino from 1938, shaped light-truck building in Italy and remained an independent brand for light and medium commercial vehicles after the Fiat takeover, before the models were folded into the Iveco range; the brand thus stands at the root of today's Iveco programme and is still a familiar name in Italy for sturdy construction and municipal vehicles, especially in the Lombardy region.

On these historic chassis, rust on cab, frame and load bed, the condition of engine and braking system, and the parts supply count, which for OM classics runs through specialist restoration workshops and Iveco archives; on tipper bodies, checking the hydraulic rams is also worthwhile, and on examples from southern Italy the condition of the bodywork after years in a humid climate.
