With a power span reaching down to 34 kW, the 700 series covered the lower power segment for smaller mixed farms needing an agile, economical tractor for fieldwork, yard duties, light trailer work and driving yard equipment from the PTO.
On these smaller Eicher models, what counts is rust on the frame and sheet metal, the condition of the brakes and steering, the tightness of the hydraulics and lift linkage, and the function of the electrics and lighting. The comparatively compact build makes these models popular for front-loader work on smaller farms; spare parts are supplied by specialist Eicher vintage-tractor dealers and tractor clubs, who also exchange knowledge on setting values.
