Massey Ferguson 3100 series

With the 3100 series, Massey Ferguson positioned itself in the upper mid-range segment for mixed farming, between the more compact 3000 series and the larger 6100 series. The shared six-cylinder engine at three output stages allowed fine gradation without a separate engine development; the Beauvais plant built further ranges of the group alongside it, keeping development paths between the model stages short.
