Lindner Serie 4

The register lists here 3 versions with 55 to 74.5 kW or 76 to 102 hp from three- to four-cylinder diesel engines of 3,300 to 4,400 cm³ displacement at rated speeds of 1,400 to 2,200 rpm. Unladen weights range from 2,880 to 3,950 kg, lift capacity from 2,800 to 3,500 kg, lengths from 3,201 to 3,960 mm, widths from 1,921 to 2,120 mm and heights from 2,365 to 2,600 mm.

With a compact build, a low centre of gravity and high manoeuvrability, the Geotrac range remains Lindner's answer to the demands of steep-slope farms, forestry and viticulture in the Alpine region, where standard tractors reach their limits.

On a used example, operating hours and service history of the diesel, clutch and gearbox condition, hydraulic tightness at the lift capacity used for front loaders and implements, and rust on chassis and mudguards after field use count; parts run through Lindner itself.

With lift capacities of 2,800 to 3,500 kg, Series 4 falls within the internationally standardised Category II of the ISO 730 three-point linkage, sufficient for the implements typical of mountain farming such as rotary tedders, balers and snow blowers. The PTO runs at 540 rpm as standard, and on the more powerful versions also at 1,000 rpm, which allows the use of higher-speed implements such as mulchers as well.
