This page gathers the KrAZ vehicles the register could not assign to a named range, from the civilian tipper and flatbed chassis 255 B1-6X6 and 258 B-1 to the heavy tractor units H12.2 and T17.0EX. KrAZ – the Kremenchuk Automobile Plant – has built off-road trucks in Kremenchuk, Ukraine, since the 1950s, originally for military and heavy civilian use; the digits after the model code on the newer types often give the payload or power class. The register data also includes entries from Finnish registration records that list vehicles only with a type description instead of a model name. Civilian KrAZ tippers such as the 255 B1-6X6 were also used outside the military in mining, forestry and road building, where the three-axle all-wheel-drive chassis had to cope with unmade roads and terrain.

KrAZ trucks are known for their off-road capability and were used above all in the Soviet Union, its successor states and export markets in Africa and Asia as tippers, low-loader tractor units and troop carriers; in Western Europe they remained a niche import.

On used examples, the condition of axles and transfer case, corrosion on frame and cab, the tightness of the braking system and the availability of spare parts count, which outside the CIS states usually runs only through specialist importers. On the Finnish register entries without their own model name, checking displacement and cylinder count helps to match the vehicle to one of the known KrAZ types.
