Kramer Export 350 to 600 – the narrow-track tractors from Überlingen for special crops: O as the narrow orchard version, the same 2.3-litre four-cylinder across the range, 24 to 33 kW

Kramer-Werke of Überlingen on Lake Constance, in the decades before its present focus on wheel loaders and telehandlers, also built farm tractors, among them the Export range, offered with a single four-cylinder diesel engine across several chassis widths. What stands out is the extreme spread of widths, from 1,000 to 1,750 mm, with an essentially unchanged engine: the narrowest version, the 350 Export O, at around a metre wide, fits between the rows of orchards and vineyards, which the O in the designation denotes, while the wider Export models ran as standard-width farm and field tractors.

The register lists 5 versions with an engine of 2,260 cm³, outputs of 23.7 to 32.9 kW, torque of 137 Nm, operating weights of 1,600 to 2,450 kg and heights of 1,200 to 1,780 mm at 2,300 to 2,500 rpm.

The narrow Export range served the niche of special-crop farms where a standard-width tractor cannot turn between the rows, putting it in competition with the narrow-track tractors of Fendt and Same of the period.

On used narrow versions, the condition of steering knuckles and steering, and generally the condition of clutch and gearbox, rust on wings and bonnet, count, along with parts supply, which at Kramer-Werke today runs mainly through the construction-equipment division rather than the old tractors.
