This page gathers the Kirovets tractors the register could not assign to a named range – from the K-700, the first Soviet articulated tractor, through the K-701, K-703, K-704, K-710, K-744 and their many upgrade stages to the current big tractors K-9360, K-9400, K-9430, K-9450 and K-9520. Kirovets is the brand of the Kirov Plant (Kirovsky Zavod) in St Petersburg, which has built articulated four-wheel-drive tractors since the early 1960s and thereby supplied Soviet and later Russian agriculture with big tractors for expansive fields. The type number grew over the decades with each new generation from the K-700 through the K-701 and K-744 to the four-digit K-9000 range; older models ran on Soviet YaMZ engines, newer generations also on engines from Mercedes-Benz (OM457LA) and Cummins.

The register lists here 14 versions with 75 to 373 kW (100 to 500 hp) from six- to twelve-cylinders, with engines from YaMZ, MMZ, Deutz, Mercedes-Benz and Cummins, all diesel.

Kirovets tractors were and are the big tractors of Russian and Ukrainian agriculture for steppe and large-scale operations; their articulated steering and four-wheel drive made them the Soviet counterpart to western big tractors such as Versatile or Case Steiger.

On used examples, operating hours, the condition of the articulation joint and steering cylinders, the condition of the YaMZ or other engine including the injection system, and the tightness of the hydraulics and rust on the frame count; parts for the Soviet YaMZ engines are widely available in Russia and the CIS, for the Mercedes and Cummins engines they run through the respective engine makers.
