John Deere 5225 A to 5625 – the revised utility range after the 5003 series: a narrower power spread, A as the cab version, Deere four- and five-cylinders of 3.0 to 4.5 litres, 41 to 73 kW
The 5025 series follows the 5003 series in numbering and groups the power classes more tightly: where the 5003 models spread from 33 to 73 kW, the 5025 types from the 5225 to the 5625 sit within a narrower, higher-set band – also visible in operating weights that run consistently somewhat heavier than the 5003 series. The type logic stays the same: the last two digits order the power class in ascending order, and A marks the cab version. Unlike the 5003 series, conceived mainly for simple export markets, the 5025 series targets more established agricultural markets with higher demands on hydraulic output and PTO.

The range's tight spread makes it an all-rounder for grassland, transport, front-loader and light field work on mid-sized farms, where a single tractor has to take on several different jobs across the year.
On used tractors, the condition of clutch and gearbox, leak-free hydraulics, lift and PTO, rust on wings, bonnet and platform, and on the A cab, door seals, glass and ventilation count; parts supply runs smoothly through Deere's dealer network.
