ITM builds tractors under Massey Ferguson licence in Tabriz, Iran, which can be read directly from the type designations: 240, 285, 299, 399, 470 and 475 correspond to the identically named Massey Ferguson ranges, whose design ITM manufactures under licence in Iran. The engines are supplied by Motorsazan, the Iranian engine maker that produces the Perkins A4.248 and AD3.152 ranges under licence.

The register lists here 11 versions with 35 to 77.6 kW from three- to six-cylinders of 2,500.7 to 6,000.9 cm³, PTO outputs from 44 to 95 hp, lift capacities from 1,415 to 3,678 kg, unladen weights from 1,711 to 3,586 kg, lengths from 3,210 to 4,330 mm and widths from 1,801.4 to 2,060.4 mm, with diesel engines.
ITM is one of the largest tractor makers in the Middle East and supplies mainly the Iranian domestic market as well as export markets in Central Asia and Africa with sturdy, easy-to-maintain tractors built to the Massey Ferguson design principles of the 1970s to 1990s.
On used tractors, the condition of the Motorsazan diesel engine and injection, clutch and mechanical transmission, hydraulic tightness and rust on bodywork count; since the components largely match the Massey Ferguson original, many spares can also be sourced through the open MF parts market.
